Skatepark Grand Opening in Diamond Valley June 24, 2023

The Town of Diamond Valley, in collaboration with the crew at Rollick Co, proudly present the grand opening for the new Diamond Valley Skatepark, with a special focus on our incredible youth! 

Join us on Saturday, June 24 from 12 noon - 5 pm for a free event with live Rock Music and a killer DJ, food and drinks, face painting, and a skateboard competition with prizes in three age categories! 

There will be performances by drummers and dancers from multiple nations within Treaty 7. This collaboration with Cousins Skateboard Community is a celebration of culture, friendship, and the undeniable power of skateboarding to bring people together. 

Created through a community-driven fundraising effort that raised over $200,000, this new facility will take our town's recreation scene to the next level! It's a testament to the passion and dedication of our residents and local businesses who came together to make this dream a reality. Get ready to witness mind-blowing skateboarding from our fearless youth shredders, and take in an afternoon of high-energy entertainment to celebrate this epic milestone.
